A large part of my upbringing was dedicated to sports, specifically winter sports. Growing up in Timmins Ontario there really isn’t much else to do when it snows six months out of the year. Sports photography allows me to capture athletes in action, completely locked in and it allows me to capture athletes just goofing around with their teammates. Working with local teams and organizations in my community has fostered a deep sense of appreciation for the town I grew up in and the photos I am able to take because of it.
